What has Aaiyja B been up to lately? Soooo much its hard to pinpoint one thing. I have been branching out from my flower pencils. I still make pencils but I also make hair clips. I have posted those here before. I am also making flip flops adorned with my flowers. Its been fun but a lot of work. My mom thought it would be a good idea to make myself a hat for when I am walking around selling flowers at my brothers' football practices. I found some cute cheap visors and as a payment for my mom, she made herself one too!
This is my visor:

I have a few more design ideas that will manifest later but for now, more hair clips!
and one of my favorites. . . . .
Stay tuned for my sisters blog which is coming soon. Its called. . . . nah I am not spoiling the surprise.

Hair With Flair
Now its time for hair clips. I am a natural in more ways than one. I wear a natural hair style and I love to dress up my afro with hair clips. I love flowers too, so of course I make flower clips for my hair. Here are some individual shots:
Blueberry Sugar
Sugar Plum
The others are Mint Cream, Strawberry Cream, and Buttercream!

Fashion Gone Green
Since my last post, I have decided to take going green to a whole new level. My mom showed me a site called On The Cheap and I was so inspired. The guy that runs the site is awesome and he went to a Trashy Fashion show that is a Facebook must see. Kids decided to take trash and turn it into fashion. I was way ahead of my time I guess because I have been wearing trash for a while. Maybe I should show it to you before you make any judgments:
Can lids (corn, beans, etc.) and coke bottle caps
Two can lids (corn, beans, etc.) 1 Coke bottle cap, and an old earring I found in a parking lot.

New Year New Fashion
It's time for a new year and a new look in fashion. Therefore, I made new flowers out of mums and pencils. It is really easy, I know what you're thinking, it's too hard, but it's not. How do I do it?
T.S.
Want one? Naturally! Please leave a comment!
